48 DAYS captures the inspiring story of migrant women from Türkiye who played a vital role in the 48-day strike at Charité CFM Facility Management, the subcontractor of Berlin’s largest hospital. The strike, launched by workers demanding “equal pay for equal work,” emerged from the stark inequality between permanent and subcontracted staff. Against all odds, the workers won most of their demands. Through the voices of these courageous women—who fought tirelessly for their rights in a foreign land—the film portrays resilience, solidarity, and the struggle for dignity in labor.
