Dezember gedenkt Schweden jedes Jahr der christlichen Märtyrerin Sankta Lucia. Nur Viola ist nicht nach Feiern zumute, weil ihr Freund sie verlassen hat. In der dunkelsten Nacht des Jahres wird dies aber das geringste ihrer Probleme sein. Eine schreckliche Mörderin treibt ihr Unwesen und terrorisiert die verschneiten Straßen Stockholms in dieser Hommage an die weihnachtlichen Slasher der 1980er Jahre.

You’ve survived Midsommar. Now, prepare for Midwinter! It’s time for Sweden’s most enigmatic holiday to take an eerie turn. On December the 13th, every year Sweden celebrates the memory of Sankta Lucia – a christian martyr.  But Viola isn’t in a festive mood because her boyfriend dumped her. In the darkest night of the year, this will be the least of their problems. A horrifying killer is on the loose to terrorize the snow-covered streets of Stockholm in this throwback to the holiday slashers of the 1980’s.
