The film unfolds on the edge of a landfill in Eastern Europe. Ivan lives there with his dog, Shinobi, staying out of sight. When their scrap is stolen, and the threat of violence grows, he must decide what to hold onto — and what to leave behind.

Finding Shinobi is the second chapter in The Ivan Trilogy, a feature-length story told across three films.

The screening is followed by a live Q&A in English with director Iliès Terki and lead actor Daniel Thomas.
