Cinema dreams itself awake.
In its third year, Cinematic Synesthesia—a collaboration between Tehran Contemporary Sounds,
the Experimental Film Society, and the EFS Film School—returns as an expanded symposium of
radical, personal, and metaphysical cinema.
This edition rethinks film as a living archaeology of the present: not a mirror to reality but a force
that reinvents it.
Across three nights, filmmakers from Iran and beyond turn the screen into a site of perception,
memory, and myth—where seeing itself becomes the subject.
